Merano is beautiful and slower paced than Venice. The glass making exhibition was amazing. It was a great way to spend the afternoon!

During our first week in Italy, we drove through pouring rains to the beautiful town of Monte Cerignone. The town was putting on a three day midevil festival, but was unfortunately inhibited by the rain on the night we went. Still, it was amazing.
